Curtis leads Samsung Media Solutions Center America whose mission is to drive platform innovation through Samsung-designed services and third-party apps. Prior to joining Samsung, Curtis was Vice President of Search, Location Services, Advertising, and Context Platform for Research in Motion (RIM). Prior to RIM, Curtis was at Sun for 12 years, most recently serving as VP of Sun Web and Customer Experience. Curtis began his career at Apple, where he helped to launch the Macintosh and other iconic Apple products. Prior to Apple, Curtis spent 10 years at NeXT, where he served as senior director of product marketing for hardware and software products, launching products that include the NeXTCube. Curtis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing and mechanical engineering degree from Gonzaga University. He holds over seven patents for innovative technologies.
